Where YWFT Norma leans warm and YWFT Forma leans sharp, YWFT Civic leads with circular geometry. Its open, optically balanced letterforms hold their presence across the full weight range.
At heavy weights with tight letter-spacing, YWFT Civic performs exceptionally well. The optical structure stays clean rather than collapsing, a specific strength that many geometric display fonts cannot match at negative tracking values. Switch on the alternates and select characters, including a double-storey lowercase a and an alternate y, give individual letters more personality without disrupting the overall texture of a typeset line. Civic works well when body copy and display need to coexist in the same typeface without feeling identical in tone. The lighter weights carry body copy and interface text cleanly.
